Radiant Heat


Radiant HeatRadiant heating works by heating the objects in a room, rather than directly heating the air in the room. Dwellings that are heated radiantly tend to hold heat better than a room that has just had the air temperature altered. To the right is a picture of radiant tubing being placed on the floor of a new home. The tubing is then covered with the flooring material of your choice. Tubing similar to this can be placed in outdoor areas such as driveways, sidewalks and patios to keep them free of snow and ice in the winter.
