Air Cleaning Systems


Media FilterWe traditionally install whole-home air cleaners to help reduce particulate matter in the home. These devices attach to your heating and cooling equipment to remove particles from the air in your home. Home air cleaners rely on the flow of air through them to effectively remove any contaminants. There are two types of air cleaners to purify the air in your home:


Mechanical - this type of air cleaner uses a media filter (shown here) to collect larger particles that are in your return air ducts. These need to be changed at least yearly
Electronic - this type of air cleaner uses an electrostatic charge to attract particles to a metal grille. These need to be cleaned regularly
